Marshall Field & Co. Ornate Brilliant Cut Glass Open Salt Cellar – Circa 1913

This ornate brilliant cut glass salt cellar is exceptionally nice, with a lovely sparkle it stands approximately 1″ tall with a 1 7/8″ diameter and has an eight point star in the base. This salt can be referenced in the “5,000 Open Salts” collectors guide, by Heacock & Johnson, (Reprint J) which shows salts from the 1913 Marshall Field & Co. retail Catalog, salt# E76569. Great for special occasions or as display, this beautiful salt cellar is in good condition with some small nicks around rim and the outside of the salt, otherwise there are no large chips, cracks, scratches or repairs. Also included is a clear glass spoon with twisted handle measuring approximately 2.25″. This beautiful salt cellar & spoon would make a nice addition to any collection.
